THOMAS REINKE TOP PLAYER THIS YEAR

THOMAS REINKE SWEEPS THE EXPERTS  AT 5-0 +327

1st- Thomas Reinke emerged as this year's top scrabble expert with a 73.6% winning percentage. Staying true to past form on the last night of this year's club games, Thomas again won all five of his games. His only really close game was his nine point win (420-411) with the club's #2 player, brother Charles.  Charles is looking forward to next year's new start in his quest to replace Thomas as the club's Numero Uno guy.  Stay tuned...

2nd - Charles Reinke's 3-1 +428 easily landed him solidly in 2nd this evening. Chales finished the year with the highest per game club average of 436 in the regular players, and he was clearly bingo king this night with 11 bonus plays.  He played the high game of the night, a 535-385 win over Andy Bohnsack.

3rd - Andy Bohnsack's 3-1 +134 cemented 3rd place.  Andy had a very tightly fought game, besting Helen Flores 457-424 as he played bingos of DETRAINS, RATTLERS and PINWALES in his 33 point win.

SUE GOLDSTEIN TOPS INTERMEDIATES WITH 3-0 RECORD

1st -  Sue Goldstein emerged as the Top Intermediate player this year with her 56.8% winning percentage, coiupled with a  final 330 average. Sue's biggest game was a 368-310 win over Aki Miura.

2nd - Aki Miura finished second with a 1-1, opening his night with a 289-262 game with June Scott.

3rd - June Scott's 1-2 +25 carried our most veteran Intermediate player to a 3rd place finish in a small field of just four intermediate players.
