LYNDA FINN BREAKS INTO RARIFIED STATS REGION
1st - Lynda Finn inched into the formerly "restricted area" of REINKE-REINKE land, as she enjoyed a 4-0 +387 evening, and landed in 3rd place in the stats, splitting the REINKE place holders with her 72% winning percentage. Shayla Dunn still enjoys the numero Uno position in our club's early going this season.
2nd - Penultimate place finisher Charles Reinke's 3-1 +469 included two 500+ games, his last a 561-268 total in his game with Betty Hasselkus. Charles had bingoes of OBELIAS, ELATERID, TORTILE and DRAGROPE in that affair, proving that you don't need that ever popular "S" tile to hit the 50-point bonus jackpot again, again and again.
3rd - Richard Lauder's 3-1 +50 was spoiled only in his last game when Lynda Finn handily womanhandled his mostly insipid plays in that game. But there's always next week....yeah
HARWINDER DOWD UNSCATHED IN FIELD OF FOUR
1st - Harwinder Dowd, despite her hectic work-travel schedules of late, managed a clean two game sweep to finish at 2-0 +176 as she rejoined us this night at Barnes & Noble and led the Intermediate field with her twin wins.
2nd - June Scott's 1-2 -189 landed her in 2nd as June upsent favored Barb Besadny 321-307 in her 3rd and final game this night.
3rd- Sue Goldstein took 3rd with a 1-3 +7...the positive cum attesting to how close her games were. She lost a nail-biter of 349-352 to Gail Salm despite her bingo DUSTIER which made the game score almost dead even.
