CHARLES REINKE SETS THE PACE ONCE AGAIN
1st - Charles Reinke's 4-0 +363 topped the experts on yet another too-wintry eve for some of our missing expert players. Mark Kenas has the best excuse..he was last spotted in Arizona. Back on the snow encrusted home front, Charles defeated brother Thomas 566-389, thanks in part to his triple-triple of INDENTOR.
2nd - Thomas Reinke's 3-1 +182 evening culminated with his own 500 game, a 513-437 shoot out with Peter Schmiedicke, Thomas playing PECTINS, ASTERNAL and the more difficult RACEWAYS, on his way across the 3-1 finish line.
3rd- Richard Lauder's 3-2 +200 landed that occasionally erstwhile opponent in 3rd position. He went down to his zillionith loss in a row to Charles, 390-399 went he failed to see the obvious good word CORRALS, and opted instead for the challenged off CARROLS to start their final game match up.
Peter Schmiedicke continued to bleed bingos on his board games, this time 11 such welcomed"wounds"...including SIENITE, UINTAITE, EUPATRID and alas a good sounding phony, gastrial.
JUNE SCOTT TAKES HALF OF THE WINNING SPOTS IN THE INETRMEDIATES
1st - June Scott, by winning a best two out of three match with Sue Goldstein with two wins to one loss, used that cushion to finish atop the INtermediates at 2-2 -113.
2nd - Sue Goldstein took the other half of the awards with her 1-3 -352 total score. Both June and Sue played their four games sans bingoes this week.
